Former Corinthians player Paulinho is close to being confirmed as Mirassol’s new technical coordinator for 2025. At 36 years old, the former athlete will be the link between players, coaching staff and management. The tendency is for the announcement to happen this week. The information was released by the ge website.
On Mirassol’s board of directors, Paulinho should now take on the role with the mission of helping to hire a new coach to replace Mozart, who is going to Coritiba.
Before taking on the role, Paulinho will still have one last farewell game, with the presence of athletes and former athletes who were his teammates. The farewell match will be played on December 21st, at 9:30 am, at the Canindé stadium, in São Paulo.
In 2025, Mirassol will compete in the first division of the Brazilian Championship for the first time in its history. The team finished the last Series B as runner-up, behind only Santos.
