Where did St. Andrew’s Day come from?
It is an evening of fortune-telling performed on the night of November 29-30, i.e. on the eve of the name day of Andrew, the patron saint of Scotland, Grace and Russia. They entered Polish tradition in 1557 thanks to the poet and writer Marcin Bielski. Interestingly, in Scotland November 30 is a national holiday.

The participant puts his elbows on the table and holds the ends of the thread with his hands. When the hand starts shaking, the wedding ring will hit the walls of the glass. The number of these hits indicates the age at which the wedding ring will take place.

However, if they move away while swimming, it is better not to get involved in this relationship.
