GNR arrests man for thefts in luxury residences in the municipality of Loulé

The Republican National Guard (GNR) arrested, this Wednesday, a 37-year-old man for thefts inside residences, in the municipality of Loulé.

As part of an investigation that took place around 18 months ago, into thefts inside luxury residences, the military initiated police measures that allowed them to “identify and locate the suspect”, having executed “a home search warrant and a warrant of prison”, explains in a statement.

The action resulted in the seizure of jewelry and watches, 3,650 euros in cash and 50 Canadian dollars.

The detainee was brought before the Loulé Judicial Court to apply coercive measures.
