SÃO PAULO (Reuters) – The airline Gol (), which is undergoing judicial recovery in the United States, announced this Friday that it will request permission from the North American Court to reach an agreement with the Federal Revenue Service and the Attorney General’s Office of the Treasury in Brazil on tax debts.
The company did not give details about the size of the debts, but stated in a relevant fact to the market that the agreement will not impact the net debt, which totaled 27.6 billion reais at the end of September.
“The agreement…which still requires processing with the authorities…aims to resolve tax debts of the company and its subsidiaries, covering taxes of a social security and non-social security nature and other tax obligations”, stated Gol.
