Launched this Thursday (28), the “Irregular Cell Phone” action seeks to combat companies that sell devices on marketplace platforms without proving their legal origin.
In these cases, the secretariat preventively suspends the issuance of electronic invoices to taxpayers who sell irregular cell phones. Companies are identified using data crossing and intelligence techniques.
In the first phase, the inspection took place in 112 establishments that sold 210 thousand cell phones that were not purchased regularly, without paying taxes.
There will also be face-to-face visits to nine taxpayers with the highest volume of irregular transactions.
