The following will serve to clean the chrome:

  • soft cloths (preferably microfiber),
  • hot water,
  • dishwashing liquid.

They should not be used:

  • metal scrapers,
  • aggressive cleaning agents.
  • chemicals containing hydrochloric acid and hypochlorite solutions – they can damage the surface,
  • preparations with abrasive substances – they cause permanent scratches on the surface),
  • bleaching agents.

How to clean chrome?

All dirt and scale deposits on chrome-plated parts can be removed using natural, homemade methods. They are cheap, safe and in no way behind ready-made products from the store. Thanks to them, your bathroom accessories will shine like new.

Water and dishwashing liquid.

This is the easiest way to clean chrome elements.

  • Add a little dishwashing liquid to the warm water.
  • Moisten a soft cloth in the mixture.
  • Wipe chrome surfaces.
  • Finally, rinse them with water, wipe with a soft cloth or microfiber cloth to avoid water stains.

Lemon.

  • Cut the lemon in half.
  • Wipe the chrome parts with it.

Vinegar and water.

  • Mix equal parts vinegar and water in a bowl.
  • Then take a piece of aluminum foil, crush it into a ball and dip it into the solution.
  • Lightly coat the surface with aluminum foil, then rinse and polish.

Kola.

Coke-type drinks contain phosphoric acid, which reacts with rust and removes it.

  • Moisten a microfiber cloth with the drink.
  • Wipe off rusted surfaces.
  • Leave on for about an hour (repeat if necessary).
