Light

Heat

Humidity

It is important that the water does not stand in the sub-basin, as this would cause rotting of the roots, which would soon be manifested by the yellowing of the leaves and the falling of the flowers. Overwatering is one of the most common causes of orchid death.
Pour over ice cubes
Use a simple trick for watering orchids, thanks to which you can skilfully avoid overwatering the plant. All you need is some ice cubes. Place 2 to 3 pieces on the substrate and you’re done. The advantage of this method is that the ice will melt slowly and the water will reach the roots gradually. It is a simple and effective method that significantly improves the health and vitality of orchids and prevents unwanted risks of rot and mold.
