Visit by the President of France and the First Lady took place before the official reopening; see photos
The President of France, , and the First Lady, Brigitte Macron, visit Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral this Friday (29.Nov.2024), a week before the official reopening.
The visit takes place after the Cathedral caught fire in 2019 and went through a fire that lasted 5 years and cost approximately 700 million euros. The president walks inside the Cathedral alongside the first lady and the Archbishop of Paris; later, he will give a speech about the reopening of the monument.
