“We consider it important to highlight the integrity and honest trajectory of Marcus Alexandre, who has always guided his public actions with transparency and respect for the laws”, begins the note.
“Marcus Alexandre was a candidate who stood out during his campaign for not taking advantage of the public machine, as he made a point of bringing a humble campaign proposal committed to the population. His trajectory is marked by ethics, and his campaign was built without the use of paid activists, demonstrating his commitment to fairness and democracy”, he continues.
The party says it is outraged by the operation and considers it absurd that the PF went to Marcus’s residence and collected the emedebista’s cell phone:
“The MDB of Rio Branco reaffirms its confidence in the character and integrity of Marcus Alexandre, a man who, throughout his public life, always demonstrated a deep respect for Brazilian legislation. But he is also outraged by this operation, considering that Marcus Alexandre was the one who made the complaint about the doctor’s situation that culminated in this operation. And it brings to reflection the abuses of economic power by the winning party, which did not have a single investigation or search and seizure. In order not to forget and inform the population, the Federal Police operation only went to the former mayor’s residence to collect his cell phone. Which is absurd given all the abuses made in the election by the opposing party that used the public machine and the economic and financial power of the State and Municipality”.
