There are often conflicts between politicians that are anything but discreet. From heated exchanges in public to references via social networks. This time, MP from PS Lucia Plaváková (40) and Romana Tabaková (33) from SNS got into the conflict.
“My day started unusually, as I met Romana Tabakova in the dressing room. Of course, she has nothing to do here, the dressing room is intended for MPs. And so from today the locker room is locked,” Plaváková explained on the social network. Users were interested in what the problem was with the fact that she was in the dressing room. “She is not a member of parliament and is therefore not authorized to enter there. Just like anyone else from the public,” she clarified in the comments.
Tabaková immediately responded to her accusation. “It’s hard for me to react to this video without a smile on my face, obviously Mrs. Plaváková is heterophobic. In women’s locker rooms, women usually change clothes, and what I didn’t understand is that she looked at me until I changed my clothes, which I can understand, because not only men like my beautiful body. It was a very strange situation, but when she decided to talk about it publicly like this, I had to comment on it like this and I guess they lost the rainbow flag from that dressing room,” said Romana.
This was just the beginning of their conflict. “Romana Tabaková not only sneaked into the deputy’s dressing room without authorization, but then she boasted that the rainbow flag “disappeared” from our dressing room. The seventh commandment, “Thou shalt not steal,” was probably missing from religion. What I will experience in the parliament, my imagination is not enough” replied Lucia.
Plaváková’s accusation did not leave Tabakova cold. “Please stop. The fact that I noticed that the rainbow flag was no longer there does not mean that I took it. And what did I do with her? Feel free to wallpaper the entire dressing room with it, where even policewomen, female employees, etc. change their clothes. This is a live tolerance. I guess she’s jealous of my age and achievements or has she fallen in love? Who knows (who knows, editor’s note),” wrote Romana.
“You should know about this, journalists have been calling me since morning, of course, because of the extremist and heterophobe Plaváková, who invented that I took the rainbow flag from her dressing room. It is something so embarrassing and mundane to deal with that you yourself know where the truth lies according to those comments. I just wanted to tell you that Slovak politics is also about this, that if by chance there is a politician or maybe a person who just wants to go into politics and solve people’s problems or improve what they can, then people are not as interested in it as these tabloids,” Tabaková said in the video, which you can find above article.
“It’s like a reality show and I know for sure that this is why some people don’t go into politics, because they don’t want to be solved by the tabloids, they want to focus only on work and this is the reality. And I know that Plaváková was expecting me to start scolding her for her appearance or her orientation. Certainly not, but I do not accept these lies of hers and you yourself know where the truth is,” Tabaková defended herself. “I don’t accept Plaváková’s lies! Thanks to her arrogance, she banned policewomen and other women from entering the dressing room, who always went there and personally did not mind me in the old dressing room“, she added.
