Chega’s deputies put up bannersthe windows of the Assembly of the Republic against the end of the 5% cut in the salaries of political office holders.
The president of the Assembly of the Republic, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, ordered the removal of the posters that Chega deputies hung, this Friday, in the windows of Parliament.
Aguiar-Branco considers Chega’s action “a political vandalization”.
The hanging banners have Montages of photos of the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, the Secretary General of the PS, Pedro Nuno Santos, and the leader of the CDS-PP, Nuno Melo, as if they were showing money in front of their faces.
