As expected, the Romanian Constitutional Court did not decide on Friday – as expected – whether the first round of the presidential election could be annulled. It was announced that a decision on this would not be made until next Monday, one day after the parliamentary election. Electoral Authority President Toni Greblă also stated that in the event of cancellation, a new first round could take place on December 15 and a second round on December 29.
