Former president stated that he looked in the Constitution for ways to expose the errors in the electoral system, but gave up due to the low possibility of success
The former president (PL) said this Thursday (Nov. 28, 2024) that it discussed with the military the possibility of declaring a state of siege after the elections in 2022, won by the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). The (Federal Police) who named Bolsonaro as the leader of the criminal organization that planned to execute an alleged coup d’état plan in 2022 also described testimonies from former commanders of the Armed Forces reporting that the former president introduced them to the plot.

STATE OF SIEGE
By 1988, according to articles 137 to 139, the state of siege is permitted in cases of serious commotion with national repercussion, when the state of defense proves to be ineffective or in times of war.
