At Leões de Porto Salvo, football was born four years ago. In the beginning there were only 20 athletes, today there are more than 500. A neighborhood club for the neighborhoods, where futsal and football are much more than just a sport.
Founded in 1970, Clube Recreativo Leões de Porto Salvo is today one of the biggest references in Portuguese futsal. A talent factory that, from day one, has had training as its pillar.
In addition to being the only club to hold, in Portugal, the Statute of 5-Star Futsal Training Entity for women and men, the Leões de Porto Salvo are the national emblem that has the most federated athletes in the sport.
In the third episode of “O Lado B da Bola”, we travel to the home of the Leões de Porto Salvo. We follow the preparation for the game, the day of the game and talk to coaches, managers, parents and, of course, the club’s little talents in children’s football.
