The State Secretariat will acquire around 140,000 notebooks for the education network this year, in an investment of R$250 million. Currently, there are 570 thousand notebooks and 258 thousand tablets for students in state schools.
The government opened a tender, which is ongoing. The companies Positivo, Samsung, HP and Lenovo are participating. The computers are expected to be delivered in the first half of 2025.
