In recent days, Slovakia has been moved by the case of the adaptation of the national anthem, which composer, conductor and producer Oskar Rózsa is working on. Many artists commented on the topic on social networks, including producer Jaro Slávik, singer Dorota Nvotová, actress Zuzana Fialová, actress Petra Dubayová, actress Dominina Kavaschová and former superstar Jakub Petraník.
The public did not like how much Rózsa should be paid for this project. “I’m not doing that anthem for you. You still haven’t understood that it’s not your anthem. That’s an anthem for a whole different group of people. And believe that there are many times more of them than you. No matter how loud you scream. Your time is running short. So, please, crawl into your holes and give us a break“, the conductor said sharply.
The topic does not come to mind now, but the singer Matuš Kolárovský (23) expressed it all the more aptly. who, after returning from the hospital where he dealt with alcohol problems, returned to music and pleased his fans with the release of several new songs. “And since the new hymn is not for me, I had to make one for myself” wrote the singer teasingly and revealed to his fans when his new song will be released.
