Yemen’s Houthis have launched a military operation on a “vital target” in central Israel using a hypersonic missile. The spokesman of the movement announced this in a televised speech on Sunday, TASR reports based on a Reuters report.
The Israeli military said earlier in the day that noted a rocket fired from Yemen. According to her statement, she was captured before she crossed Israeli territory.
The Houthis have repeatedly fired rockets and sent drones at Israel since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip in October 2023. They also attack ships, especially in the Red Sea. They justify this in solidarity with the Palestinians and the effort to force Israel to end its military operation in the Gaza Strip.
