The second phase of the university entrance exam UFPR (Federal University of Paraná) takes place this Sunday and Monday, December 1st and 2nd. More than 10 thousand candidates will compete for 5,248 places at the university.
Gates open at 12:40pm and close at 1:30pm. The exam starts at 2pm and lasts 4h30 on the first day. On the second day, the duration is 2h30 for students with only one specific knowledge test and 5h for those with two specific knowledge tests.
On the first day, students take a test of understanding and production of textswith three discursive questions.
On the second day, the test is specific knowledge and the questions depend on the course chosen by the candidate. For example, whoever selected law takes the philosophy and history test, each with seven questions.

What to take to the test?
Students must take the proof of drying (which shows the date, place and room in which the candidate will take the test), black ink pen and one recent original document with photo.
The accepted documents are:
- Identity cards issued by the Security Secretariats, the Armed Forces, the Military Police, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
- Professional identification cards issued by Class Orders or Councils, such as the OAB;
- Work and Social Security Card;
- National Driving License (with photograph);
- Passport;
- National Foreigner Registry (RNE), in the case of foreigners;
- Digital documents (CNH, voter ID and ID).
Students can still take snack and water to consume during the test, as long as the food does not cause noise or odors that disturb other candidates. They must be in transparent, unlabeled containers.
What to do with your cell phone?
Upon arriving at the test location, students must keep their cell phone and any other electronic devices in a security envelopewhich must be sealed and kept under the desk or on the floor.
