Formula 1 holds the penultimate race of its 2024 season this Sunday (01/12), with the Qatar GP, at 1 pm (Brasília time).

Qualifying training, held on Saturday (30/11), left Max Verstappen, from Red Bull, in pole position, with a time of 1:20.520. In second place was George Russell, from Mercedes, followed by Lando Norris, from McLaren, in third place.
However, Verstappen was later penalized by the stewards and will start behind Russell. The four-time world champion was slow on the track and got in the way of the Mercedes driver’s lap.
Also on Saturday (30/11), F1 held the sprint race, which ended with victory for Oscar Piastri and second place for Lando Norris, both from McLaren. Third place went to George Russell, from Mercedes. The result widened McLaren’s gap to Ferrari at the top of the Constructors’ World Championship.
With the Drivers’ World Championship confirmed, as Red Bull’s Max Verstappen became four-time Formula 1 champion in advance last Sunday (11/24), the dispute is now for the Constructors’ World Championship and other positions in the drivers’ race.
