According to the senator, the defense may seek a UN Human Rights court if the former president is denounced by the PGR
The senator (PL-RJ) said that appealing to the international court is a “reasonable path” if the father, the former president (PL), is denounced for an attempted coup d’état. Bolsonaro is one of the 37 names cited in the PF (Federal Police) indictment for anti-democratic articulation in 2022.
“I can’t speak for his defense, but I think that regardless of what the PGR (Attorney General’s Office) what you’re going to do, you’ll have to follow this line, it’s a reasonable path”Flávio said to CNN.
The senator stated that the father is a victim of persecution and that he is considering suing the UN Court of Human Rights (United Nations).
“There are several precedents of people who even reverse their legal status in the country when illegality is found and the judge is the one who is unable to take these cases. In no serious democracy in the world would this be tolerated.”he stated.

PF investigations (Federal Police) indicate that the former president (PL) knew about the plan to kill the president (PT), the vice-president (PSB) and the minister of (Supremo Tribunal Federal) . The objective was to prevent the elected government from taking office.
Regarding the attempted coup d’état in 2022, the corporation states that the location of the cell phones of those involved, dates and meeting places indicate that the former president was aware of the assassination plan.
