Bolsonaro’s lawyers took the request to the rapporteur this morning, already highlighting the limitations of the situation.
“Considering the relationship between the petitioner and Mr. Valdemar and the exceptionality of the situation, it is hereby requested, on an exceptional basis, authorization to attend the funeral of Mr. Valdemar’s mother, with the petitioner undertaking not to maintain any conversations about ongoing investigations,” they said.
