Graz couple married twelve times – investigation into suspected fraud

Graz – A Graz couple is suspected of abusing the divorce law by repeatedly marrying and then divorcing over 35 years. A now 73-year-old woman married and divorced a total of twelve times in order to maintain her entitlement to a widow’s pension. The damage amounts to more than 326,000 euros, as the Styrian State Police Directorate announced on Tuesday.
