Government ministers () who are elected parliamentarians were dismissed this Tuesday (3) to return to the National Congress, during the season of budget discussions and indication of amendments to its bases.
Their dismissals were published in the Official Gazette of the Union André Fufuca (Sport), Carlos Fávaro (Agriculture) and Celso Sabino (Tourism).
The dismissal of ministers to return to the National Congress is a normal episode at the end of the year, when discussions regarding the budget approach. The objective is so that they can indicate amendments for their electoral strongholds.
Celso Sabino, from Tourism, informed in a statement that his temporary dismissal also takes place to participate in important votes in the National Congress.
“Celso Sabino requested the temporary dismissal of the position of minister of tourism to resume his position as federal deputy, in order to allow him to participate in important debates and votes in the National Congress, as well as, especially, to fulfill his duty towards the municipalities of Pará in relation to concerns the indication of parliamentary amendments for the 2025 General Budget of the Union”, states the text.
He will return to his role in the coming days. Likewise, Carlos Fávaro’s press office confirmed that he will return to the Senate temporarily to nominate parliamentary amendments.
The processing of proposals linked to the budget was released this week, with. They had been suspended by his own order since August.
