Jair Roberto da Silva, 54 years old, was the victim of physical aggression by blows from a lath on the morning of this Tuesday (3), in the invasion of Panorama, in the São Francisco region, in the upper part of the city of Rio Branco.
According to information from witnesses, Jair was at home and, for about three days, a man identified as “Carimbó” had been insisting that the victim drink cachaça with him. After the victim denied the invitation, Carimbó became angry and, in possession of a slat, threw several blows at Jair, who ended up with a broken arm when he tried to defend himself. After the attack, Carimbó fled the scene.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called, and a basic support ambulance was sent to the scene. The paramedics provided first aid and took Jair to the emergency room in Rio Branco. His health condition was considered stable.
Military police officers were at the scene of the crime, collected the attacker’s characteristics and carried out searches in the region, but he was not found.
The case will be investigated by the Civil Police.
