On September 2, 2024, presenter Marianna Ďurianová returned to Markíza TV after 10 years. She left behind her work as a sports presenter at STVR. After a long time, she shines in Televízne noviny alongside her old colleague Jaroslav Zápala, with whom she moderated in the past. And they still like it!
The couple has a good relationship even after years, as evidenced by Marianna’s new Instagram post from behind the scenes of Televízny Novín. During the first Advent Sunday, they placed an Advent wreath with one lighted candle on their moderator’s table. Ďurianová, like any detail-oriented woman, immediately started fine-tuning it and held her hand over the flame for a while. The colleague lit her with a smile and only hinted at clapping her hand so that she wouldn’t touch the flame.

A regular on television screens, Marianna Ďurianová started her career at RTVS, went through other media and ended up again at the place of her beginnings. She left Markíza in 2014. On Sunday, August 11, 2024, she moderated the sports program Goals – Points – Seconds on STVR (formerly RTVS) for the last time.
“On the Sport station, you can watch the closing ceremony from Paris, which will end the 33rd Olympic Games, in a moment. And symbolically, my sports career in Slovak Television. A well-known Slovak woman appeared among the marquis already on August 21when a media party was held in Bratislava, at which they officially presented the program offer for autumn 2024.
