This week, federal deputies and senators from Acre defined during a meeting in Brasília, the allocation of resources from bench amendments, which will be included in the 2025 General Budget of the Union.

In total, guaranteed investments exceed R$528.8 million. The majority of this amount will be spent by the State government.
Resources were allocated for paving streets in Rio Branco and Sena Madureira; the construction of a port in Cruzeiro do Sul; the structuring and modernization of the Integrated Public Security System; the acquisition of vehicles, equipment and agricultural inputs; in addition to amendments for the area of education and the Federal University of Acre (Ufac).
According to the coordinator of the Acre federal bench, Senator Alan Rick, financial contributions are also assured for the works of the 7th BEC City Park, in Rio Branco, the Santa Rosa do Purus aerodrome and the bridge over the Juruá River, in Rodrigues Alves.
“We defined the eight bench amendments and the three amendments for works in progress, which are mandatory. Five of these amendments will be implemented by the government of Acre and cover the 22 municipalities”, he explained.
