Bábovka is the perfect dessert. It is not known exactly where it comes from, but most sources lean towards Poland. It is also quite likely that the word bábovka originated from the word baba, which means baby food in Polish. The word bábovka in Old Czech meant a baking pan, a mold for a bábu. Or was the word derived from the fact that this classic Slavic dessert was prepared for the family by grandmothers?
Unfortunately, we will probably never know the exact origin of the word bábovka. However, we are all well aware of the fact that bábovka is a classic dessert that can be made in several ways. Marble brownie, poppy seed brownie, chocolate chip brownie, lemon brownie, chocolate covered brownie, and so on.
But have you ever heard of a cupcake? Maybe it will remind you of the tricks of Ladi Hruška and his fryer in a cup, and it is partly true. But the cake in a mug is definitely not such a fiasco, and above all, it is very quick and easy to prepare.

So, if you have an unexpected visitor, or you’re just hungry, and you want to make a quick and simple sweet treat for your coffee, a cupcake in a mug is exactly the recipe for you. Take a bigger and wider mug.
Put 2 spoons of powdered sugar, 2 spoons of flour and 2 spoons of cocoa into it. Mix everything, and then beat 1 egg into the powder mixture. Then add 1 more tablespoon of oil and 1 tablespoon of milk. Mix everything well and put it in the microwave. Turn it on at full power and you’re done in a minute and a half. Bon appetite!
