The streaming platform DAZN signed an agreement with FIFA (International Football Federation) to broadcast exclusively, and free of charge, the 63 games of the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States.
The group draw takes place this Thursday (5), also broadcast on DAZN. Flamengo, Fluminense and Palmeiras are in pot 1 and will be seeded, as well as River Plate, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG (Paris Saint-Germain).
Libertadores champion, Botafogo is in pot 3, with Saudi Al-Hilal, owned by Neymar, and Argentine Boca Juniors.
The new competition with 32 teams will have a group stage made up of eight pools of four participants each, in which the top two from each of them will qualify for the round of 16.
The inaugural match will be on June 15th at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, with the final at MetLife Stadium in New York on July 13th.
“Through this broadcast agreement, billions of football fans around the world can now watch what will be the most accessible club tournament ever. And for free,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
