Dramatic action: The police tracked down a man who wanted to set himself on fire in front of the Presidential Palace

The police tracked down a man who told the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic by phone in the morning on Tuesday (December 3) that he wanted to come in front of the Presidential Palace in Bratislava and set himself on fire. Bratislava regional police spokeswoman Katarína Bartošová informed TASR about it.

“This event was checked by members of several units of the District Directorate of the Bratislava I Police Force. The unknown man was identified in a short time and subsequently tracked down,” explained Bartošová. The man’s actions are still subject to further investigation.
