Striker Gabriel Pec, formerly of Vasco, is having a standout season at LA Galaxy, in the United States, and is attracting interest from European clubs. The possible sale of the winger could benefit not only the athlete and the current club, but also Gigante da Colina.
Arsenal and Liverpool, both from the Premier League, are interested in Gabriel Pec, according to the “CaughtOffside” portal. In addition to them, Newcastle, Atlético de Madrid and Inter Milan also investigated the Brazilian.

How much will Vasco earn if Pec is sold?
The winger was sold by Vasco in January 2024 for around R$48.9 million and the Rio club kept 30% of the player’s rights. This percentage can generate profit for the club in a future sale.
At 23 years old, the athlete, trained at the Rio club’s base, has a contract with LA that extends until December 2028. Until June 2023, according to the “transfermarkt” platform, Gabriel Pec’s market value reached 8 million euros (more than R$50.7 million, at current prices). Protagonism at the North American club could increase the attacker’s value even more.
If sold for R$50 million, Vasco could receive up to R$15 million for the athlete.
Pec’s brilliant season at LA Galaxy
The number 11 is the highlight of the LA Galaxy this season and has 21 goals and 19 assists in 40 matches. Pec’s team is in second place in the MLS Western Conference, with 64 points in 34 matches.
Pec was born in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, on February 11, 2003. He joined Vasco da Gama in 2009 and made his professional debut with Gigante da Colina ten years later, in 2010.
In 2023, Pec experienced the best season of his career so far. Fundamental in the fight against relegation with Vasco, the player scored 14 goals and provided 5 assists in 50 matches, numbers already surpassed in the current season.
