It is not impossible, but more often then we have to spend a long and tiring time scrubbing the shower area and all the glass. There are some handy tricks you can use to get rid of limescale stains in the shower quickly.

Dissolves limescale without scrubbing. That is possible

If limescale devalues ​​our shower, we don’t have to worry about spending a lot of time and energy to restore it to its original state. You can do it in a simple way and use alcohol vinegar. Just mix it with water in equal proportions in a spray bottle and add a little dishwashing liquid (the mixture will “stick” better to a flat surface). After mixing, apply it all on the dirty glass in the shower and wait about 15 minutes. After this time, simply wipe the surface with a sponge and you can enjoy a clean shower.

For a better result, moisten the sponge with lemon juice and rub the inside of the cabin again with the rough side. After rinsing, the glass should be as clean as a tear.

If you don’t want to use the fruit itself, citric acid has a similar effect. Dissolve two packages of this substance in a liter of warm (but not hot) water and mix thoroughly. Later, as with other products, cover the shower walls, wait and rinse.

Tablets for the dishwasher: gloss and descaling

Our shower is in a sorry state and no methods can deal with it, then a dishwasher tablet can help us. This product not only has a shining and cleaning effect, but also perfectly dissolves limescale. How to use a tablet in the dishwasher? Just dissolve one in a bowl of water to create a thick paste that you need to cover the cabin with and scrub a little. After a few hand strokes and rinsing, the scale should dissolve.

If we want to avoid scrubbing the shower area, it is better to prevent this process in advance. One way to do this is through regular cleaning. Cleaning the glass at least once a week is the minimum, but it is better to get into the habit of wiping off excess water in the shower every day.
