Last Tuesday morning, an incident occurred at São Paulo/Congonhas Airport, involving two Latam planes. During a maneuver on the runway, an aircraft collided with the wing on the tail of another, which was parked. Fortunately, no one was injured and there were no flight delays or cancellations.
The accident, which occurred at low speed, caused damage to both aircraft. In a video posted on social media, it is possible to see the aircraft bound for Campo Grande touching the other’s tail with its wing.

The causes of the accident are still being investigated, and Latam reported that the two aircraft were sent for maintenance inspections. The company also stated that the incident did not cause any risks to passengers or crew, and that the affected flights continued normally.
