The crew used emergency signal munitions against a German military helicopter in the Baltic Sea, the German news agency dpa reported a while ago, citing a briefing by Foreign Minister Analena Burbock on the sidelines of a NATO meeting in Brussels.
According to dpa, the helicopter was going to carry out a reconnaissance procedure in the area, in which, as Ms. Burbok said earlier, there are always ships involved in trying to avoid sanctions against Russia.
The minister also emphasized that the guarding of pipelines and cables located in the Baltic should be intensified, due to the increase in hybrid attacks by Russia and its supporters. “Protection of critical infrastructure through patrols must be expanded,” he said.
However, when asked about it, the representative of the Ministry of Defense stated a while ago that he is unable to confirm the incident.
