At lunch, Bolsonaro, Nunes and allies criticized the current economy and discussed their alliance during the municipal elections
The former president (PL) and the mayor of São Paulo, (MDB), met this Wednesday afternoon (Dec 4, 2024) for the first time since the end of the municipal elections, in October. The meeting took place at lunch at the home of Bolsonaro’s former Communications Secretary Fábio Wajngarten.
During the meeting, they discussed economic themes, perspectives and political scenarios in criticism of the PT government.
In addition to Bolsonaro, Nunes and Wajngarten, 3 more allies were present at the lunch: Diogo Soares, executive secretary of Nunes’ office, Daniel Tesser, Bolsonaro’s lawyer, and (PL), businessman and 2nd place in the election for the Mayor of Angra dos Reis (RJ).

To the Poder360Wajngarten mentioned the “economic-financial collapse” of the current government and the “disrespect” to the spending cap as the main topics of discussion. According to him, Lula did not fulfill his campaign promises. “A dream turned into a nightmare”, he stated.
In addition to the economic scenario, the group also spoke about the political scenario in São Paulo, where Nunes with 59.35% of the votes, with the of Bolsonaro and the governor (Republicans). “We talk about the very successful alliance in the election of the city of São Paulo with the right + center that resulted in a 60/40” these Wajngarten.
