Brazilian MMA promise, 21-year-old Igor Severino will be back in the UFC on December 29th, after being punished for nine months. The fighter was disqualified after biting compatriot André ‘Mascote”s arm during his UFC debut in March.
Severino will face Jonas Magard, the company’s former bantamweight champion (61 kg), in Prague. The organization itself announced the fight through its official social media account. The Brazilian celebrated the fight and promised to make a positive impact.
“I’m going to debut in Oktagon MMA against Jonas Magard. I’m very excited for this fight. I can’t wait to go there and put on a show for everyone. Jonas, I’ll see you soon. I’m ready. December 29th, let’s go”, declared the fighter.
The Brazilian began his career in the sport in 2018 and built a record consisting of eight wins and one defeat. All victories were achieved quickly, four by knockout and four by submission.
