Crush and water the dying orchid. It will act like a steroid for flowering

The orchid has become one of the most beloved flowers in recent years. Women go to great lengths to properly care for orchids, and they return the favor with spectacular, colorful flowers that beautifully decorate the interior of the apartment. Sometimes, however, we can devote a lot of time and energy to the care of an orchid, and out of spite it does not produce new buds. What’s more, it sometimes happens that the orchid begins to die for various reasons. What should be done in such a situation to save the plant? If you rule out that it has been overwatered, prepare it with garlic. Peel one clove of garlic and crush it. Then pour lukewarm water and water the dying orchid after 1 hour. Such a home-made conditioner will act on it like a steroid for flowering. You will quickly notice how it is covered with new buds.

How to save a dying orchid?

First of all, when you notice that your tree is damaged, check the condition of its roots. Perhaps it was overwatered? Then the plant should be transplanted into a substrate that is extremely absorbent and at the same time permeable. First, gently remove the plant from the pot and trim the dry roots with a sharp knife. Clean them well of the dirt (you can use a paint brush) and look to see if some of them have died. Then it is necessary to cut these parts of the root using a sharp knife. In a new and transparent pot, special drainage should be prepared with bark and activated carbon. Then replant your orchid and cover its roots with appropriate soil.

Orchid care

When caring for orchids, just follow a few rules and they will bloom beautifully and thus decorate the interior of our home. First of all, these are plants that need to be watered quite often, while being careful not to overwater them. The best solution is to moisturize, i.e. once a week, and after a while remove excess water from the base of the pot. The color of the orchid’s roots will be helpful in determining the appropriate watering frequency. If they are green, refrain from watering the plant. Once they are white, you can go ahead and grab the watering can.
