In Spiš and Zamaguri, ice can form on the roads until the morning. This is pointed out by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ), which issued for the districts in this part of eastern Slovakia 1st degree ice warning, valid until 10:00 a.m.
The Stellacentrum also warns about the ice in the current information from the roads. He adds that it is formed in and around Žilina. “The fog is in the locations of Šahy, Sekule, Myjava, Dunajská Streda and Levice,” adds Stellacentrum about another risk on the road.
The STVR green wave informs that in Piešťany near the bus station towards the center, two passenger cars collided. “The section is impassable,” he says. He also announces that columns are forming in Košice on Prešovská cesta and Palacký towards the center and the delay reaches 50 minutes.
