Traunstein in Upper Bavaria – The news of her death caused an international stir and consternation at the end of July 2022: The Upper Austrian doctor Lisa-Maria Kellermayr took her own life in her practice on Lake Attersee. Threats from the cosmos of corona deniers and radical opponents of vaccination had taken a significant toll on the 36-year-old. Right at the beginning of the pandemic, Kellermayr voluntarily cared for hundreds of infected people and saved many when the virus was barely researched. She later campaigned for vaccinations and criticized a Corona demonstration in front of the Wels Hospital. That’s why a digital mob made the doctor a target.
