President listed 5 achievements in a list of “top hits”, copying retrospective publications from the music app

The president (PT) made a post on social media, this Thursday (Dec 5, 2024), in which he highlights government actions during the year 2024. He used the model of the 2024 musical retrospective, published by the music app Spotify .

He highlighted the following “Top Hits” of your government in 5 points:

  • 1st Unemployment rate for the quarter ending in October is the lowest in history
  • 2nd Misery and poverty reach the lowest level in the historical series
  • Brazil’s 3rd GDP grows as much as China
  • 4th zero income tax for those earning up to R$5,000
  • 5th Brazil is the second country with the highest flow of foreign direct investment”

The post had comments with divided opinions. On one side, Lula supporters celebrated the posted results. “Because of all this I will do the L again in 2026″wrote a follower; “President Lula tops the global charts”, said another.

Other comments took on a more critical tone. “Terrible security, rising food prices, all possible taxes… We have to talk about what is not good and also show the plan to combat it. This is transparency”said a follower.

“Huh, but fuel and markets are increasingly expensive, the dollar is increasingly higher, and the real is worth less and less compared to other currencies?”asked another.
