Priscyla Laham assumes the presidency of Microsoft Brazil from January

Microsoft announced this Tuesday (3) the appointment of Priscyla Laham as the new president of Microsoft Brazil, replacing Tania Cosentino, who will assume the position of General Manager specializing in Sales for the Security Sector at Microsoft Latin America from January 1, 2025.

Priscyla Laham has over 25 years of experience in the areas of technology, consumer electronics and online services.

Starting her career in the consumer segment, she moved to the technology sector, working at IBM before joining Microsoft in 2000.

Throughout his career at the company, he held several positions in different countries, including the United States, Argentina and Uruguay.

He recently served as Vice President of Sales for the Consumer sector and, since July 2023, led Independent Software Vendor partnerships for Microsoft Americas.

Priscyla states that her commitment in her new role is to accelerate the digital transformation journey of Brazilians, focusing on technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud services.

“I believe we have powerful tools at hand that can help solve issues relevant to society and the planet,” said the executive.

Tania Cosentino, who has led Microsoft Brazil since January 2019, will focus on accelerating the security journey in Latin America, a sector that faces increasing challenges with the increase in cyber attacks.

“I am very motivated to contribute to the growth of business in the security area in Latin America. Security must be the priority of all organizations,” said Tania.
