Queen guitarist, Brian May77, is stabilized after suffering a stroke in late August. In an interview, his wife, the British actress Anita Dobsonsaid that the artist returned to playing the piano and guitar with his left arm, which had been affected.
“He’s much better now, he’s stabilized now, which is brilliant,” says Anita in an interview with The Mirror.
“I just hope we don’t have any more recurrences. He’s regained the use of that arm, which was a bit challenging, now. So yeah, he’s ready to go now. He is playing the piano a lot at home. He really likes Beethoven. I love it – the piano at home is really relaxing,” he adds.
In September, hi In the video, stating that he is recovering well and as a “little scare”.
“I was worried because the little scare I mentioned happened about a week ago. It was a small stroke and suddenly I lost control of my arm, which was quite scary,” he explained, adding that he has now been medically cleared to play guitar again.
Finally, May added that she initially didn’t want to go public with the news, saying, “I really don’t want sympathy. Please don’t do that because my inbox will fill up and I hate that.”
Brian May is a musician, songwriter and guitarist who co-founded the band Queen alongside the singer Freddie Mercury and the drummer Roger Taylor. He was also responsible for writing some of the group’s biggest hits, such as “We Will Rock You” e “I Want It All”.
