Benjamin Back asked “what was the 0 to 100 chance” of Yuri Alberto remaining at Corinthians. The player was not direct, but gave an answer that confirmed the doubt about his next steps.

In November, presenter Neto, from Band, reported that the player should not remain at Corinthians in 2025. According to the communicator, Corinthians would raise around R$186 million from the sale of Yuri Alberto, an amount below the termination fine, stipulated in R$300 million. One of the speculated destinations is Nottingham Forest.
If his departure is confirmed, Yuri Alberto should go to European football. In the last transfer window, Premier League clubs such as West Ham and Southampton showed interest in having the center forward.

– Yuri Alberto is a Corinthians player, don’t worry, there’s nothing, nothing ever arrived. As far as it depends on me, he will stay. He has his wishes, but there is a lot to accomplish here, Corinthians fans can rest assured, whatever I can do to make him stay I will do, especially because his fine is high – said the president of Corinthians.
What do Corinthians intend to do if Yuri Alberto leaves?
According to information from journalist Samir Carvalho, from the website “Uol”, the Corinthians board is discussing the possibility of bringing Róger Guedes back to the club. The possibility gains strength if Yuri Alberto leaves Timão.
Corinthians plans to place an order with its master sponsor, the bookmaker “Esportes da Sorte”. In the contract with Timão, the sponsor can help the club with any signings considered media-related, as was the case with Memphis Depay.
The internal assessment is that the ex-Corinthians player pleases members like Augusto Melo, in addition to functioning as a media character due to his identification with the black and white fans.
Currently, the player plays for Al Rayyan, Qatar, until June 2027. However, there has not yet been any proposal or negotiation. The name only came up in internal conversations at the club.
