“Dead terrorists”. Israeli army shares Spotify Wrapped. Are you a fan of Charli xcx

The montage made by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) was published on X and mocks the deaths of members of Hezbollah and Hamas. Even military personnel have time to learn about pop culture.

“Dead.” (death) was the IDF’s most listened to song this year. In a montage published on the social network X, Israeli soldiers play with list of the most listened to songs by each user made every year by the Spotify platform.

The invented song, “Dead.”, has as its cover photo the face of Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah for 32 years, killed by the Israeli army. In the name of the album, they write “Dead Hezbollah Terrorists” (dead Hezbollah terrorists).

The list goes on, and “Dead Pt. II” is the second most listened to song, represented by the photograph of yet another “dead”, this time from Hamas, Yahya Al-Sinwar.

The third most listened to song is called “Dismanteled” (dismantled) and the artist is “Hezbollah’s infrastructure” (Hezbollah infrastructure).

And it is in the fourth song that IDF begins to show its knowledge of pop culture. In a reference to the year“Brat”, de Charli xcx, the armed forces changed the cover photo of the British artist’s album. Instead of “brat”, it reads “IDF”.

The song is called “365”, one of the most popular songs on the album, and the artist and the name of the album are “Israel Defense Forces Protecting our Civilians” — one year of protection Israeli armed forces protecting our civilians.

The last song, “19 000 +” has the artist and album name “Terrorists eliminated” and “Bye Bye Bye” — “more than 19 thousand terrorists eliminated, goodbye“.

In the comments, there were several criticisms, and one also made a montage with a Spotify Wrapped that he attributed to the IDF: the most listened to song is “killing more than 100,000 people in Gaza.”

Charli XCX didn’t comment, and it’s possible she didn’t like the joke.
