The victory of the Rio team against Cuiabá defined the last relegation to Series B 2025

Three of the four relegated to the second division in 2025 have already been defined. After Atlético-GO and Cuiabá, Criciúma is another one to be mathematically relegated to Série B. The confirmation of the drop occurred with Fluminense’s 1-0 victory against Cuiabá, at Maracanã.
Even if the team from Santa Catarina wins the direct confrontation against Red Bull Bragantino, in the last round, Tigre only reaches 41 points, which is insufficient to leave the relegation zone.
The last place will be between RB Bragantino, Fluminense, Athletico-PR and Atlético-MG. The last two face each other in the 38th round and the match could decide the last relegation of the Brasileirão, if the other two teams win their games. Fluminense faces Palmeiras at Allianz Parque, while Bragantino hosts the already relegated Criciúma, at Nabi Abi Chedid.
