Fluminense beat Cuiabá 1-0, on Thursday night (05), in the 37th round of the Brazilian Championship, with a goal from Serna.
With the victory, Fluminense was in 15th place, with 43 points, two behind Red Bull Bragantino, the first team in the relegation zone. Cuiabá, relegated, is in 20th place, with 30 points.
Now, Flu returns to the field on Sunday (08/12), against Palmeiras, away from home, at 4pm, for the last round of the Brazilian Championship, wanting a positive result so as not to depend on anyone to avoid relegation. Cuiabá faces Vasco, on Sunday, at the same time, at home.

How was Fluminense x Cuiabá?
Needing a victory, Fluminense went after Cuiabá. Just a minute in, Cano received it from Martinelli at the edge of the area, spun and finished powerfully from the first shot. The ball passed to the right of the goal. At 11, Cuiabá responded. After a short corner kick, Ramon received it in the middle and risked a long shot. Fábio palmed the ball for the baseline
The game cooled off and Fluminense only reached 23 again. Cano shot a cross into the middle of the area, Serna headed into the small area, and Lima tried to headbutt face to face with Walter. The Cuiabá goalkeeper fought with his foot and managed to clear it. Two minutes later, Walter brought down Lima in the area. After consulting the VAR, the penalty was awarded.
