Beaver Creek (Colorado) – Vincent Kriechmayr achieved the best time in the second and final downhill training in Beaver Creek and thus showed speed before the start of the Alpine Ski World Cup. On Thursday, the Upper Austrian beat the Swiss star Marco Odermatt (+0.23) and Cyprien Sarrazin from France (+0.31) in the first real muscle flexes on the Birds of Prey. The second best Austrian was Otmar Striedinger in eighth place (+1.04). The departure starts on Friday at 7 p.m. (live ORF 1).
