Natural decoration in glass
Filled containers made of clear glass are a completely simple but original decoration. To create them, prepare jars of any shape and size and all the natural materials you have at your disposal.
Use twigs not only with needles, but also without them, you will certainly use various types of pine cones, mosses and winter fruits. Fill the glass of your choice with them and you’re done. Of course, you can complement them with Christmas decorations, gingerbread, a delicate Christmas chain and also lights. Christmas glass containers are sure to attract the attention of every visitor.
Hanging juniper tree
You can also use the green conifer twigs as a hanging decoration on the wall, when you make a small Christmas tree out of them in a simple way. First, cut them to the desired length and tie them together at one end with a string.
Then just turn them upside down and the tree is ready. Properly align the twigs in the upper part to form a clear tip, which is enough to complete with a paper or other star. Also tie a small loop at the bottom to hang the ornament.
We also have a second option for you, when you can create a Christmas tree from bare branches. First, clean them properly and cut them into individual lengths so that you can use them to lay out a pyramid on the table. This will be the basic skeleton of the tree.
Then, in this order, tie them together with a string so that there are about 10 cm or more gaps between the individual branches. Then fill them with cones tied to a red ribbon and hang the decoration in the chosen place. Pine cones can of course be supplemented with other natural decorations.
A tree made of bark
Tree bark can also be used to make decorations. It can also be made into an interesting imitation of a Christmas tree. Thread the individual pieces onto the wire one by one, from the largest, which will be at the bottom, to the smallest, which will form the top tip. Decorate the tree with a star and decorate the individual floors with pieces of moss.
Mini trees made of pine cones
This version of the decoration will certainly be well made by small children. It is very simple. Just take a pinecone, stick it on a piece of strong cardboard and then glue it with rosehips or rowan balls. You can also use small balls from a broken Christmas chain, which you can at least put to good use. As a result, these small trees look very tasteful and fit on any table or shelf.
Wooden animals
You can make Christmas reindeer from wooden twigs or scraps. The strongest piece will form the torso, make the smaller head and legs and neck from smaller twigs. Connect the individual pieces with wire or using a hot melt gun or glue and decorate with a ribbon.
