Nuno Lobo accuses Rui Pereira Caeiro, Pedro Proença’s right-hand man, of sending him private photos in restaurants with the message: “we know where he is”. The complaint is already being investigated by the Public Ministry.
Nuno Lobo, candidate for the elections of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) and current president of the Lisbon Football Association, filed a formal complaint with the Public Ministry, denouncing alleged cases of espionage and illegal wiretapping related to your application.

These photographs were attached to the complaint and include records of meetings in Lisbon and Porto. According to Nuno Lobo, the images were shared by Rui Pereira Caeiro, executive director of the League and Pedro Proença’s right-hand manvia the WhatsApp application, including messages with a threatening tone such as: “We know where you have been and where you are”.
In the complaint, the candidate suggests that Proença may be aware of or even conniving at these actions, which he classifies as a serious violation of the right to privacy and intimacy.
The case was handed over to the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DIAP), where Nuno Lobo requests the opening of an investigation into investigate criminal offenses in question, considering the actions “undue, illegal and illicit”.
Meanwhile, Pedro Proença received official support from the management of the League of Clubs for his candidacy for president of the FPF, according to a statement sent by the organization he still leads. Questioned by, Rui Pereira Caeiro refused to comment on the accusations.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office must now investigate the allegations, including the authenticity of the images and messages presented.
