Public funds helped organize the independent Tribeca Film Festival in Lisbon, an initiative by SIC and Grupo Impresa, to which the television channel belongs, which cost almost two million euros and made a loss.
The Festival took place between the 18th and 19th of October last and was attended in Lisbon by the actors Robert De Niro and Woophi Goldbergamong other Hollywood figures linked to the Tribeca Festival, one of the most famous independent cinema events in the world.
