At least 11 people were killed and more than 22 injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Zaporozhye region and the city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnepropetrovsk region on Friday, regional officials there said. TASR informs about it based on reports from Reuters and AFP.
The governor of the Zaporozhye region, Ivan Fedorov, specified that nine people died in the attack, which caused a fire in a car repair shop. Six others, including two children aged four and 11, were injured. In a video shared by the governor, flames can be seen shooting from a destroyed building and a burnt car. Fedorov added that there were problems with electricity supplies after the attack.
In another attack, a rocket hit an administrative building in the city of Kryvyi Rih in southeastern Ukraine, killing two people, the governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region, Serhiy Lysak, announced on the Telegram platform. Rescuers were searching for one missing person on the spot, he added. At least 16 other people, including one child, are injured, the rescue service specified, adding that residential buildings were also damaged.
